The Finance And Contracts work stream uses authorized experts on the chosen systems and tools for setting up and
configuring the systems and tools, including the creation of report templates as needed for the continuous service
management. These experts can for instance be the financial controllers in each country, the resources of the Capgemini
Shared Services teams or Excel wizards downloading and combining information out of the different systems into Excel. The
Finance And Contracts work stream team supervises and checks the implementation and tests the results against the
requirements.
If there are tools especially created for the financial management for service management or delivery these are stored as
Financial Management Tools artifacts.
Any deviations between the financial information received from the sales team and what is in fact entered in the financial
systems and tools, should be analyzed and explained. An example could be that some financial specifications of the contract
cannot be entered in the necessary way in the mandatory Capgemini Group tool. The Capgemini internal steering committee of
the transition program needs to decide on what level in the Capgemini organization this deviation needs to be authorized
and what additional measures are necessary. The description of the deviation, the reasons why and the appropriate
authorization is logged in a Financial Deviation artifact. This artifact is stored in the appropriate document repository
and explicitly handed over to the Engagement Manager (Services) who will manage the continuous service delivery.
